You Have Permission to be Happy

What does it take to make you happy? Does everything need to be perfect before you feel real joy in your heart? You do realize that there is no one that has their life so in order that it is perfect, right?

So, with that in mind, your joy must come from something/somewhere/someone else! But where?

It boils down to being happy and content in the Lord.

Things can be in complete disarray with your “strength to go on” gone…or you seem to have nothing to be happy about…or you have guilt from the “not -doing” part. All of these things stand in the way of your “perfect” life, but you can still be happy. Yes…still.

When you really begin to understand all, you need is in Him, true contented happiness begins to strengthen you from the inside out.

Step out of the darkness of guilt, dejection and weeping into the light of that strength that comes from the joy of the Lord. Don’t stay where you are. Enjoy your life…be happy!

Nehemiah 8:10 NLT

[10] And Nehemiah continued, "Go and celebrate with a feast of rich foods and sweet drinks, and share gifts of food with people who have nothing prepared. This is a sacred day before our Lord. Don't be dejected and sad, for the joy of the LORD is your strength!" #paulaandthebible #helpforyourdailywalk
