Be More Like Jesus

Remember the “what would Jesus do” phase a few years back? There were t-shirts, bracelets and reminders everywhere you looked to think before you did or said something. This was and still is, great advice.

Too many of us seem to have the “foot in mouth” syndrome. We say whatever we please, without any regard for how that will impact others. We have our “comeback” ready and are not afraid to say it. We think we have the right to say anything. After all, they deserve it, right? That is definitely NOT a “Jesus” reaction.

Jesus is always our best example in handling situations. The one I am referring to today, had to be one of the most difficult moments as He faced those who were opposed to Him. He didn’t need to try to give those accusing Him of blasphemy a “dose of their own medicine”. He simply stated the truth and let them draw their own conclusions.

Luke 23:3-4 NLT

[3] So Pilate asked him, "Are you the king of the Jews?" Jesus replied, "You have said it." [4] Pilate turned to the leading priests and to the crowd and said, "I find nothing wrong with this man!" #paulaandthebible #helpforyourdailywalk
