How to be Safe

We all want safety in our lives. There is so much to safeguard ourselves from all the time. If we are not aware of what is going on around us, we could quickly be in danger of being taken advantage of by other people.

I just read of an example of this yesterday. The article spoke of a young boy that made a wrong decision that eventually led to his demise. He was not wise in how he handled a situation and became gullible to evil people. This evil took his words and actions and used them against him. They took every advantage of him to the point of him deciding suicide was his only option. Oh, how heartbreaking for him and for those left to carry on afterwards. If only…if only he had relied on wisdom instead of “spur of the moment” decisions, things could have ended differently. He could still be sitting at the dinner table with his family and being a part of shaping future plans.

We need wisdom in dealing with the twisted evil that we can face on the daily.

Our kids need wisdom. We need to constantly be aware of who is trying to influence them.

Adults can be swayed as well…so seek out the wisdom you need so that you can always making wise decisions.

Be safe out there.

Proverbs 2:11-12 NLT

[11] Wise choices will watch over you. Understanding will keep you safe. [12] Wisdom will save you from evil people, from those whose words are twisted.
