Something to Look Forward To

There is a reason they call it, “expecting” in a pregnancy. What you are looking forward to, far outweighs any of the discomfort you feel during the wait. You do the things you can do, to alleviate the anxiety and stress of this “expectancy of joy to come.” You look at it with the eyes of a loving expectant mom. Others have been through this; you can go through this too.

The growing life you have inside of you is a beautiful blessing that allows you time to get your thoughts on the important things. You are blessed and you can’t hide the glow of that joy.

In relation to life in general, we have an expectation of what God has in store for us in this life. We may have to face some pretty stressful and difficult times in our lives, but His grace can always help us stand.

He has given us great and mighty promises throughout the Bible to provide us with a joyful hope in things to come. Others have gone through tough times and made it through, so can we.

Don’t allow yourself to get caught up in the trap of the naysayers that try to steal your joy. So many “DebbieDowners” out there. Step over them and take a stand in faith to have joy in the waiting.

1 Peter 1:4-6 TPT

[4] We are reborn into a perfect inheritance that can never perish, never be defiled, and never diminish. It is promised and preserved forever in the heavenly realm for you! [5] Through our faith, the mighty power of God constantly guards us until our full salvation is ready to be revealed in the last time. [6] May the thought of this cause you to jump for joy, even though lately you've had to put up with the grief of many trials. #paulaandthebible #helpforyourdailywalk
