Trust Like a Child

One of the best examples of how a child totally trusts is when they are invited to jump off a tall porch into the arms of their dad. No second thoughts … no worries as to whether he will land on the ground … no need to keep asking his dad if he will catch him …HE JUST JUMPS.

A child will totally trust. (Unless they have been given a reason not to trust.) That total trust that a child shows is the sort of trust we need in our Christian walk. We need to trust like a child.

That means we quit questioning the Lord on everything. (Not that he minds questions) It means to stop trying to understand everything on our own. It means to place our trust in our loving dad (God). He will never fail us.

“Born of His Spirit, washed in His Blood

And what He did for me on Calvary is more than enough

Oh, I trust in God, my Savior

The One who will never fail

He will never fail”
