Be Blessed

Abraham was told that God was willing and able to bless him and he in turn would be a blessing to others. “And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing.” - Genesis 12:2

Many times, the Israelites had to learn the difference between a curse and a blessing. They were so stubborn, the original group didn’t even make it into the Promised land. The blessing of that beautiful land flowing with milk and honey was theirs. But because of their “not believing” God wanted to bless them and would give them what they needed to defeat the giants of the land, they ended up wandering around.

God has told us from the start that there are blessings and curses. The choice is ours. Choose blessing. Believe what He says. Don’t spend your life “wandering” around. Listen to what the Bible says … It will set you free and you WILL be blessed.

James 1:22,25 NLT

But don't just listen to God's word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves. [25] But if you look carefully into the perfect law that sets you free, and if you do what it says and don't forget what you heard, then God will bless you for doing it.

Deuteronomy 28:6 NLT
