True Forgiveness

When we think about true forgiveness, we sometimes stop short of what that really means. It involves a “wholelotta” love!!

Love that is patient and kind. The kind of caring for another person more than your own hurt feelings. The kind that is not rude and demanding but accepting the fact of your responsibility of having been a part of the problem. And then, ready to be a huge part of the solution.

The most important thing in this true forgiveness is “keeping no record of being wronged”. I know, I know…it is hard. But it would’ve never been included in the Bible if it were “too hard” to accomplish.

You CAN do hard things.

Don’t pretend…really forgive with love in your heart.

1 Corinthians 13:4-5 NLT

[4] Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud [5] or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. #paulaandthebible #helpforyourdailywalk
