Stay Calm

“That’s easy for you to say, you are not facing what I am!” You may think you are the only one that has ever had to go through the kind of trouble you are facing, but I guarantee, that is not the case.

Everyone faces troubles of some sort every day. It is how we react to them that sets the course for how things play out for us. We can either panic or stay calm.

Today’s scripture verse is the words of Moses that was said to the Israelite people right before God Himself, through Moses, parted the Red Sea for them to cross on dry land. The Egyptian soldiers were heavy on their trail, and they were facing either dying in the wilderness or going back into slavery. But the Lord would not allow that to happen…He would fight this battle for them. Moses said, “be calm”.

God did indeed take care of His people and lead them to safety to the other side of the sea. Once they were safe, the soldiers tried to follow them and were swallowed up by the same sea that had parted for God’s people.

When we follow God’s direction for our lives, we shouldn’t have the same fears as those that don’t. He fights for us in the things that can swallow up those that don’t have the same guidance. Stay strong in whatever has your attention and is trying to drown you. Allow God to direct you through it to the other side. He will!

Exodus 14:14 NLT

[14] The LORD himself will fight for you. Just stay calm." #paulaandthebible #helpforyourdailywalk
