Puzzling Puzzle Pieces

Those puzzles we spread out on the table and start to work on during the holidays, look impossible to complete. They have like 1,000 or more pieces with a picture on the box to go by. You pick up a corner piece, and off you go putting in one piece after another until “Wah Lah” a big ole masterpiece of a scene.

Right now, there are times we just don’t understand what’s happening and why. We don’t understand the big picture just yet. We do know what we have been told to believe and trust, and we do. But all the pieces are being put into our lives piece by piece. There will be a day when we will totally “get it”.

I think of Jesus disciples on the day after they witnessed their beloved leader give His life. They knew and believed what was taught to them. They were heartbroken over all that they witnessed and were probably even puzzled as to how it would all happen. He had told them this day would come but also told them that the grave would not be able to hold Him. That day they were seeing and understanding “in part”, the corner pieces were in place. They had to trust that it would all come together just as they were told.

1 Corinthians 13:12 NKJV

[12] For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known. #paulaandthebible #helpforyourdailywalk
