Remembering that coke commercial

“I’d like to teach the world to sing, in perfect harmony…”

The word harmony means to be in balance, to be in agreement or (in singing groups) it means your voices blend together really well.

Let’s break it down to relationships. Whether it is family, friends or acquaintances, living in balance and blending our lives together is an important aspect to a stress-free life. Will we always agree on everything? Good chance that we won’t. But we should always do our part to be a “harmony-encouraging” kind of man or woman.

Living in harmony with someone else doesn’t mean you always “give-in” to the other person. It just means, in the scheme of things, most disagreements are not worth fighting for a position of “being right.”

Our scripture today uses the word pleasant…which means giving a sense of happy satisfaction or enjoyment. Sounds good to me. Let’s give it our best shot.

Psalm 133:1 NLT
