Out of the Grave

As our thoughts go to that first Easter Sunday, we are reminded that Jesus conquered death, hell and the grave.

He came out of that grave giving us hope that we too would have nothing to fear in any trials that come around us. We have a blessed hope of victory over sickness and even death.

There will come a day when we take our last breath, and our work on earth is finished. When that happens, we know, because of Jesus, we never really die spiritually. We just move our residence from here to heaven.

In the meantime, our steps should be established on Him. Don’t let the troubles of this world, trip you up. No matter what the religious leaders threw at Jesus, He was victorious. They even threw Him in the grave, but He came out.

Come out of the “grave” pit of this world and shine as a new creature in Christ. You have hope.

Psalm 40:2 NKJV

[2] He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, Out of the miry clay, And set my feet upon a rock, And established my steps.
