No Separation

Have you ever sat and thought about who all you are connected to just by knowing someone else?

Bobby and I do it all the time. If you think about it, most people can trace a connection to an enormous amount of people. It’s called “six degrees of separation “. It is not really a scientific idea, but I looked it up and found…

“Six degrees of separation is the idea that all people are six or fewer social connections away from each other. As a result, a chain of "friend of a friend" statements can be made to connect any two people in a maximum of six steps.” ~ Wikipedia

One place you can’t depend on this type of connection is with your relationship with Jesus. That is personal. You can’t say, “My grandma or my mom or my neighbor were Christians and since I know them, I should be fine!” You need to get this right and “know that you know” Jesus as your Lord and Savior.

That connection to Him should be so strong, everything else pales in comparison. Those other connections, although fun to think about, shouldn’t hold a candle to what you have with Jesus.

Philippians 3:8 CEV

[8] Nothing is as wonderful as knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. I have given up everything else and count it all as garbage. All I want is Christ
