Love Like Jesus

Let’s be honest, it is tough to love those that are” unloving”. But, if we are to love like Jesus, that has to go out the window. There are no conditions … just love others.

And since we are focused on the virtues of a child, let’s consider how they love. Here are a few I thought of…

•They share their toys and sometimes their snacks (with a little encouragement)

•They give hugs and smile

•They say thank you (most times with a twinkle in their eye showing real appreciation)

•They make handmade cards that show their love

•When they love you, they will just melt in your arms with no inhibitions.

•Kids don’t keep score as to who is showing more love…they just love.

Let’s be more like children and Jesus in the way we love others. He wants our joy to overflow. He asks us to love others in the way He loves them. He doesn’t say to “sort of” love them either. No, He says to love them deeply.

John 15:17 TPT
