Keep On Keeping On

As a baby takes its first steps, it’s time to let the toddling begin. They decide somewhere within themselves to take a few more. They may wobble around a bit and sit hard on their bottom a few times, but they get back in the game and keep on moving. If they were to decide to give up on this walking thing, how crazy would their life become?

If you are reading this, you are definitely not a baby. You are someone that never gave up on reading either. You kept on adding to your vocabulary and went from reading “Go Dog Go” to maybe reading “Pride and Prejudice” or something similar. What if you stayed at the “Go Dog Go” level and didn’t increase your reading and comprehension? Would life be easier?

Giving in and giving up just isn’t an option you ever want to touch. Doing that, only makes life more difficult. God wants so much more for each of us. He knows that there will be tests and trials we will have to face, but we can endure anything and be stronger during them and beyond. The whole idea is for there to be nothing missing or lacking in our lives.

Being able to “walk” the walk and “read” the promises found in the Word is the key to progress. Even if you “fell on your bottom”; even if you think you can’t take another step; even if it is tough to read another sentence through the tears of a defeat…keep on keeping on. Wherever you are lacking, allow Gods power within you to give the guidance necessary to your heart and your life.

James 1:3-4 TPT

[3] For you know that when your faith is tested it stirs up power within you to endure all things. [4] And then as your endurance grows even stronger it will release perfection into every part of your being until there is nothing missing and nothing lacking. #paulaandthebible #helpforyourdailywalk
