It's Not That Complicated

Why in the wild world of sports (just a way Bobby & I say it) do we always try to make things harder than they really are? I’m just saying. We can take the simplest thing and turn it in to some big ole blown up complication.
The things that happen in your life are no surprise to the Lord. He knows you better than you know yourself. He was even around when you were in your momma’s belly. You were not a random mistake or anything. You belong. He is why you are here.
Doesn’t it just make sense to trust Him with your whole heart and life? Don’t complicate that by trying to figure everything out on your own. That is what it means when our scripture says, “do not depend on your own understanding.” The next verse nails it down. “Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.”
It’s not that complicated!
Proverbs 3:5 NLT
Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding.
