Don't Change the Bible

The culture of our world has caused many churches to change their theological beliefs and teachings. I am not sure if it is just from lack of understanding or if they have allowed the devil a place in their midst. No one has the authority to change what the Bible says. Why would you try to change the actual “words of Jesus” to fit some passing cultural narrative?

Some are even teaching that there is more than “one” way to heaven … which we should all know is just not true. There should be no confusion as to what the Bible says about this. Knowing where you are going when you die is pretty darn important. Don’t ya think?

There may be things in the Bible that we have difficulty understanding, but our understanding is not what makes it true … The fact that these words were inspired by God does. We must have faith that what we read in the inspired word of God is true. There is no need for subtracting or adding anything to it.

Even Billy Graham said, “one night, I opened the book. And I said, ‘O God, I don’t understand all that’s in this book, but I’m going to accept it by faith as your holy Word.’ I accepted it by faith, and from that moment on, I’ve never doubted.”

If you find yourself in a church that is trying to fit the bible to say what “they need it to say”, (on any subject, but especially on the subject of salvation) …beware.

John 14:6 ESV

Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. #paulaandthebible #helpforyourdailylife
