Getting Along

I am all about it. I love when everybody just gets along with each other. I love when the bickering stops and the accusations cease. I love when family and friends seek to understand each other and enjoy each other's company. Don’t you?

We sometimes look back at the “good ole days” and long for those times of what we saw as peace and tranquility. Things aren’t always what they seem in our memories. I am sure that our older friends and family had struggles were weren’t even aware of back then.

Remember the Israelites? They many times wished they were back in Egypt. They saw their way of life in Egypt as better than what they had with God’s provision. That was slavery ya’ll. They thought slavery was better than being in God's hands? Wow!

How many of us believe the sin of slavery (to whatever it is) is better than being in the center of Gods will? Quit focusing on the past and start focusing on those around you NOW. Being in the now and getting along with those we love and care for is sure better than ending up “wandering in the wilderness” for the rest of our life.

Psalm 133:1 TPT

How truly wonderful and delightful it is to see brothers and sisters living together in sweet unity!
