How Much is All?

There are probably very few people that have not memorized today’s Bible verse at some point in their lives. You have it memorized, but do you really understand what transpired that day? God gave us His son and Jesus gave it all on the cross.

He spent His entire ministry teaching all that would listen, what was important in this life. He wanted them to know and understand the importance of being a follower of those teachings. He wanted to prepare them for what was to come.

Even though He shared with His disciples that He was going to have to face certain death, they were still not prepared for all that He would go through. The thing is, He could have at some point, said, “No one is worth this pain and suffering!” But He didn’t! He was the perfect sacrifice, and He knew it must be done. When He prayed in the garden, He was in agony to the point of sweating blood. But as always, He came to do the will of the Father and was ready and willing to give His life.

He gave all He had to give. He was beaten and tortured for us; He was humiliated for us; He took on sin and death for us. He Gave His life so we could have it all. Forgiveness. Health. Love. Life everlasting. So Much More. In other words, He gave it all so that all could go well for us. It just takes belief on our part. Believe in who He is and what He did for you.

John 3:16 KJV

[16] For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
