Happiness is NOT Overrated

Are you just over being unhappy all the time? You are in this rut of being miserable and seeing yourself as someone that can never find that happy place again.

It is kind of weird for you to think that someone who has been unhappy for years, could actually find happiness when you’re so “down and out” right now. Why don’t you give yourself some rest from this type of thinking and replace it with something else…some positivity!

You’ve heard it said before, “you are what you think”, and I really believe that is true. Thinking negative all the time can affect your life so much that you get in a state of hopelessness and anxiety. If you have been this way for years, it could be that you need to start the healing process. How do you do that?

*You have to want to change

*You have to want to ALWAYS do what is right

*You have to seek out the good in situations

*You have to realize that sometimes happiness comes in the form of contentment

*You have to be open to other people’s feelings and not let it all be about you

*You have to learn to love yourself so that you can properly love others

*Forgiveness is always key

*You need the happiness that comes from Jesus.

Psalm 97:11 ERV
