Getting Wisdom

Today’s verse, out of the Classic Amplified Version, explains it so well. The first step in being wise is getting wisdom. Well…that makes sense. But not just any wisdom. You don’t just become a “wise guy”. You become wise. It’s the kind of wisdom that comes from God. It is skillful and IS the most effective way to live a great life.

Now what do you do with all that wisdom? You pray that you comprehend what you have right there in front of you. When you have the Word and start studying the Word, it is of no use to you if you don’t understand it.

You’ve heard “you shall know the truth and the truth will set you free”. It really should read, the truth that you “know and understand “will set you free. That is where that understanding wisdom comes into play. Spend some time getting wisdom from the scriptures and pray for understanding. It will come to those that seek out. The value added to your life is priceless.
