Don't Be Moved by Crazy Stuff

“I shall not be, I shall not be moved. I shall not be, I shall not be moved. Just like a tree planted by the water…I shall not be moved.”

How many of you remember singing that chorus one time or another in your life? We probably didn’t take it to heart so much back then, but the meaning behind those words can (and should be) taken seriously in this crazy world we find ourselves in today.

We have different opinions and beliefs coming to us from every direction. If you are not careful, some of those things can get inside you and cause doubt and confusion.

I want to encourage you to strengthen your faith and trust those truths found in the Word. Be so planted in the promises that the “crazy” can’t get to you. Your foundation in Christ is worth protecting.

We all need the strength of our faith to carry us through all we face on a daily basis. If we lose our footing, we could slip into doubt and unbelief, which is a scary place to land. Be a person that continues to nourish the roots of your faith with the Bible and what you know to be true.
