Be Strong and Stay Strong

As we have covered many times, you are not in this thing called life alone. Today’s verse makes it clear, “be strong in the Lord and IN HIS mighty power.” We mentioned yesterday about the fact that He will “fight our battles”.

There are some things we must do to aid in this happening. We have to prepare ourselves for the battle that is confronting us from the world. The world doesn’t want success in our lives, but God does. We need to use every available resource that He has made available to us to keep us strong in His power. We need that strength to fight against the downright evil we face.

*Belt of truth

*Body armor of God’s righteousness

*Shoes of peace from the Good News

*Shield of faith

*Helmet of salvation

*Sword of the Spirit (Word of God)

*Pray in the Spirit

*Be alert and persistent in prayer
