Your Footprints

In that immortal poem “Footprints in the Sand”, we can sense the pain that someone is facing and the importance of having someone guide them THROUGH it.
The line that really takes it home is when it is noticed that where there used to be two sets of footprints (signifying someone walking alongside of you) there’s now only one set. The person felt as if he had been abandoned. Then that assuring line … “Those were the moments I carried you.” This was the Lord doing what He does for those He loves.
You can be the reason someone feels “carried” through a situation; when they feel loved and understood … this is where the rubber meets the road. You are making a difference. By being a friend and guiding them back to a good place, you are helping more than you know. When the set of footprints they are seeing are yours helping them back to the Lord … how cool is that?
James 5:20 ERV
remember this: Anyone who brings a sinner back from the wrong way will save that person from eternal death and cause many sins to be forgiven.
