Victim Versus Victor

Those times in your life when all you can focus on is “poor me”, are the saddest of times. You sometimes will go from hurt to vengeance with all the stages in between.
If you’ve never found yourself having a “pity party” then you’re one of a kind.
When “pity” has overtaken your rational thought process, you are going to make mistakes that shouldn’t be made. Step up and out of this crater of “poor me” mentality so that your life can be blessed and you can be a blessing to others.
When you love like Jesus, things just go better for you. Bitterness becomes a thing of the past. You no longer look at yourself as the victim but instead see yourself as the victor. You become the master of your own mind through the power of God's love. His love chooses not to remember your past baggage. When He forgives you … He forgets it. Psalm 103:12 tells us, “He has removed our sins as far from us as the east is from the west.” If He can forgive like that, so can we.
Proverbs 17:9 TPT
Love overlooks the mistakes of others, but dwelling on the failures of others devastates friendships. #paulaandthebible #helpforyourdailywalk
