Tuning in or Tuning Out

Until recently, I had never heard the phrase, “You were broadcasting when you should have been tuning in”. Wow! That one statement “hits the nail on the head” for most people.
How often do we talk and talk with no understanding of what has really gone on in a situation? We are “broadcasting” about something (gossiping) with no credible knowledge … just hearsay.
How can we avoid falling into a trap of “broadcasting”? Be selective to who you listen to daily. Those voices could be steering you in a wrong direction. Maybe it is not “totally wrong” but twisted enough to mess up your future. Definitely don’t be caught in the trap of repeating stuff like it’s the gospel truth. It very well may not be, and always has the “broadcasters” take on it.
Start “tuning in” to the Lord’s wisdom. If what you are hearing goes against what the Lord would want … you need to “tune that out”. He wants His best for ALL of His kids. His wisdom “will save you from evil people whose words are twisted.”
Proverbs 2:2,6,12 NLT
Tune your ears to wisdom, and concentrate on understanding. [6] For the LORD grants wisdom! From his mouth come knowledge and understanding. [12] Wisdom will save you from evil people, from those whose words are twisted. #paulaandthebible #helpforyourdailywalk
