What does “fixer” mean?

“a person or thing that fixes, sets, adjusts, or repairs...a person who arranges matters in advance.”

If you find yourself saying and doing the wrong things constantly, you need to reevaluate your thought life. As I have said before, everything starts with a thought. Your actions reflect what’s in your mind. And when you “think” about it, you become what you “think about” on a regular basis.

I would say, the best way to start the process of adjusting what you think about, is become intentional. Set a place and time to “steal away” and just be with Jesus. Read the Bible. Start with chapter one of Proverbs and read a chapter a day. Close your eyes and think on truth, honor, purity, beautiful and admirable things.

Be the “fixer” of your thoughts. If is true (and I believe it is) that you become what you think about the most…then you will be a truth teller; you will be honorable; you be pure; you will be beautiful inside & out and people will admire you. You begin doing things that are praiseworthy instead of being avoided by others.

I like that “fix”! How about you?

Philippians 4:8 NLT

[8] And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. #paulaandthebible #helpforyourdailywalk
