Faith-Filled Prayer

Are these some of the things that keep you in a state of concern and confusion? …
“I wish things were different”. “I never feel as though God hears my prayers”. God just wouldn’t be interested in this part of my life”. “I worry about everything “. “Why do I feel pulled in so many directions?”
You may think Paula would never deal with this stuff. She writes devotions and makes encouraging videos. But hear me when I say, “I do”. The only difference between me and possibly you or others is I have learned that I can’t stay in the middle of those thoughts and feelings and expect any kind of peace. And I KNOW that is what God wants in my life. Peace.
What does it mean to be “saturated” in prayer? One thing I think about is it’s not to just “occasionally pray” … it is to be filled to overflowing with prayer. (like a sponge that is so full, it is dripping everywhere). And we are not to do just any old kind of praying. It is to be faith-filled … believing you will receive what you request from God. Remember in 1 John 5:14-15 it says, “And we are confident that he hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases him. And since we know he hears us when we make our requests, we also know that he will give us what we ask for.”
And the kicker is … He is interested in it all … Every detail of your life. So, think on the goodness of God. As the song says, “Your goodness is running after, it keeps running after me”. We must surrender it all to Him and talk with Him in faith-filled prayer about everything.
Philippians 4:6 TPT
Don’t be pulled in different directions or worried about a thing. Be saturated in prayer throughout each day, offering your faith-filled requests before God with overflowing gratitude. Tell him every detail of your life, #paulaandthebible #helpforyourdailywalk
