Choices

Our days are full of different choices. From the moment we get out of bed until we lay our head on the pillow in the evening … choices. We choose what we wear, what we eat, what we drink, who we let influence us and many other decisions/choices.
When unexpected things happen, how we react is also a choice. We can choose to be overwhelmed by it or tackle it with grace and love. Our reaction is really more important than what happened. You can choose to be miserable or choose to be happy and content in all circumstances.
Our ultimate choices were given back in Moses day. They were life and death, blessing and curse. God wants us to choose life. Part of that choice is reactionary. We should give thanks with a grateful heart as things happen … good and bad. That is how you embrace Him. He said to love God, be obedient and truly embrace Him.
Deuteronomy 30:19-20 MSG
I call Heaven and Earth to witness against you today: I place before you Life and Death, Blessing and Curse. Choose life so that you and your children will live. And love God, your God, listening obediently to him, firmly embracing him. Oh yes, he is life itself, a long life settled on the soil that God, your God, promised to give your ancestors, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. #paulaandthebible #helpforyourdailywalk
