You are so close to a breakthrough in your life and all of a sudden, out of nowhere, the devil decides to put some heavy-duty things in your path. What in the world?

Do you give up and give in or do you call on Jesus to take command in your life? He can calm the situation and give you a way out, no matter how strong the devil is against you. You can trust Him with your life, just call out to Him for help.

When Jesus and His disciples were crossing the lake, they were headed there so that Jesus could cast out a legion of demons that had been terrorizing the people there. On the way, a windstorm came up out of nowhere, and the disciples thought this was it, they were goners. The boat was even filling up with water. They were so afraid of what was happening around them. Even though Jesus was right there, they were allowing fear to take hold.

Even though their faith was somewhat lacking, when they went to Jesus, He did what He does…calmed the situation and gave them hope. They were astonished that even those terrible high winds listened up and obeyed. (He did call them out about their lack of faith.)

Realize today that when you call on the Lord for His help, he never disappoints. He is right there to help you even if it seems as though this life “windstorm” is about to blow you out of the water. Be ready to be amazed.

Mark 4:37,39 ERV

[37] A very bad wind came up on the lake. The waves were coming over the sides and into the boat, and it was almost full of water. [39] Jesus stood up and gave a command to the wind and the water. He said, "Quiet! Be still!" Then the wind stopped, and the lake became calm. #helpforyourdailywalk #paulaandthebible
