More Like Jesus

Becoming more like Jesus. What an awesome goal to have. Notice I said “becoming”. I have definitely not arrived at that destination but am daily giving it a go so to speak.

I am sure I may leave something out, but here are some things to think about:

Jesus…

-was like God in every way but stayed humble

-didn’t want to be served, but to serve

-was fully obedient to God

-was fair and honest

-was compassionate and thought of others

-loved Big

-showed kindness and importance to children

-taught others how to live and forgive

-wanted everyone to know and understand truth

-had followers that trusted him and his teachings

-loved his mom and dad

-wanted his mom taken care of after his death

-had close friends

-faced opposition

-knew some would betray Him, loved em anyway.

-cried when sad - but didn’t stay there

-loved us so much he suffered and gave His life

-gave us hope and a promise he would always be with us.

I wanna be like that…how about you?
