1 John 4:20-21 MSG

[20-21] If anyone boasts, "I love God," and goes right on hating his brother or sister, thinking nothing of it, he is a liar. If he won't love the person he can see, how can he love the God he can't see?

The command we have from Christ is blunt: Loving God includes loving people. You've got to love both.

Loving God includes loving others. Does this include your family? Give that some thought today.

You will not always have your family-having two siblings pass a year ago…believe me when I say this is true. Love doesn’t mean that you agree on everything-most families don’t.

My sister used to say that she didn’t want to leave this world with regrets. Gosh, I miss her!

But even more than that… know that living life with an unforgiving heart toward others (including family) is not love. You are harming yourself in so many ways. Be that person that wants good for others even when it’s tough. #helpforyourdailywalk #paulaandthebible
