I want to pick out an important word in today’s verse that we sometimes overlook. Not on purpose, but just kind of read on over it.

“Diligently”

This whole chapter in Hebrews is reminding us of how important faith was in the lives of many of our Old Testament heroes. It is important for us to have that same kind of faith. Without it, it is impossible to please God.

But as we read on, we realize something so important…we don’t want to miss it. The rewards of being diligent (not being lazy) in our search for Him.

If we sincerely and diligently seek Him, we will find Him. Seek Him “on purpose”. When we do, we will begin to know and understand what His perfect will is for our lives.

He wants and has always wanted for everything to go well for us in every area of our lives. Spiritually, Physically, Relationally and Financially.

So, with that in mind, be diligent (not lazy) in all areas of your life.

Don’t allow poverty (whether spiritual, physical, relational or financial) to overtake you just because you were too lazy to think better, to be better and to do better.

Hebrews 11:6b NKJV

[6] …He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. #helpforyourdailywalk #paulaandthebible
