Keep on Praising

Can you think of ways where you could do what our verse today is saying? There are the obvious that most think of … such as praying, testifying and singing. I want to broaden that a little for you.
How about honesty? Being honest with who we are … not only with God, but with those who we associate with every day. God already knows we can be a mess from time to time (actually a lot of the time) so why not be honest and confess our messiness. Quit trying to appear to be perfect when we all know we are not.
That doesn’t mean we don’t strive for perfection. We should be trying to be more like Jesus each and every day. That’s a tall order, I know, but that is a way to praise Him.
Forgiveness can be another way to praise the Lord. Sure, what was done or said was hurtful, but does that change our understanding of “forgive others as God has forgiven us”? My goodness even Jesus said, “forgive them, they know not what they do!” when he was hanging on the cross.
A lot of things can be said and done in the throes of a tough situation. Praise Him by offering love and forgiveness … even if it is hard.
