Hold Your Head Up

“We are living in a time where Satan doesn’t hide anymore and yet the world can’t see him!” This is a quote I read recently, that perfectly describes how the devil is allowed to roam around “to and fro” and take up residence in people’s lives. Many don’t even realize they are being used when they tell lies about other people. They will choose to stretch the truth to prove their point regardless of who they hurt in the process.

If you have ever been on the receiving end of lies, you know how evil they are. Staying clear of this type of thing may be difficult to avoid, but how you allow it to affect you is your choice. It is their choice to be dishonest and disrespectful, but it is your choice to hold your head up high in the truth.

In Luke, it is referring to the second coming where it says, “lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.” Today I want you to realize this statement is also true for your life when being hurt and slandered. Stay true to the word and know Jesus wants you to lift your head up high because He will help you fight those battles. Liars will be found out. And as my daddy would say, “keep your own nose clean!”

Proverbs 12:17-19 NLT

[17] An honest witness tells the truth; a false witness tells lies. [18] Some people make cutting remarks, but the words of the wise bring healing. [19] Truthful words stand the test of time, but lies are soon exposed. #paulaandthebible #helpforyourdailywalk
