Boldness Comes from Truth

Today’s verse is what Balaam spoke to King Balek when he went to the Lord to speak on behalf of the king about cursing the Israelites. Even though what he would share with him would be a blessing instead of a curse on Israel, he still told him with boldness the truth he received from God. (Not once, not twice but three times)
Balaam knew that what he was speaking was the truth of what the Lord had spoken to him to share with the king. When the king heard this, he wanted Balaam to at least not bless them. In verse 26, Balaam replied to him, "Didn't I tell you that I can do only what the LORD tells me?" He again boldly emphasizes in Numbers 24:13 “'Even if Balak were to give me his palace filled with silver and gold; I would be powerless to do anything against the will of the LORD.' I told you that I could say only what the LORD says!”
We don’t need to whisper what God has promised to us as believers. We can have the boldness of Balaam. Ask yourself, “Has He ever promised and not carried through with what He promised me?” Blot out the confusion of the enemy with the truth.
Numbers 23:19 NLT
God is not a man, so he does not lie. He is not human, so he does not change his mind. Has he ever spoken and failed to act? Has he ever promised and not carried it through? #paulaandthebible #helpforyourdailywalk
