We all mess up sometimes. Knowing that, we should commit to forgiving others when they make mistakes. Especially someone new in the faith. I love the way the NLT puts it…make allowance for each other's faults.

If we are offended, we are the one that’s “taking offense”. When you take on offense you are saying that you have no intention on settling the situation. Forgiveness has no place. How sad!!!

Did the Lord forgive you for some stupid stuff in your own life? Of course He did. Well, you must do the same.

Make a commitment to show mercy, love and forgiveness to others. Cut them some slack.

Colossians 3:13 NLT

[13] Make allowance for each other's faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.
