You Go Before Me and Follow Me

I love the fact that the Lord really knows me. He doesn’t have to play any kind of “Guessing Game” where I am concerned. That is why when I do something that it seems could be misinterpreted or misunderstood, I pray, “Lord, take my words and help those that heard them understand what my heart was want trying to say.” I pray that because He knows me and is the only one that truly knows my heart.

We have the presence of the Lord. This is something that we sometimes forget. He is with us in our travels and at home. Whether our feet are kicked up at the beach or in our living room, He is there for us. He goes before us and follows us in every situation. Not only that, but there are also blessings included in Him being there.

Don’t allow the presence of the Lord to be forgotten in your life. There is nothing that you can do that He doesn’t already have a solution to help you. The better idea is to let Him help from the get-go. He wants to bless you, but you have to be open to allowing Him to guide you and choose blessing. Things will not always be “hunky dory”, but oh my goodness the peace of mind is so beautiful.

Psalm 139:3,5 NLT

[3] You see me when I travel and when I rest at home. You know everything I do. [5] You go before me and follow me. You place your hand of blessing on my head. #paulaandthebible #helpforyourdailywalk
