Yes, You Can Pray for That

So, your toe hurts… yes you can pray for that. Maybe it’s those stinking allergies. Maybe it’s protection for a trip. Maybe it’s getting a good score on a “well studied for” school test. The answer is…Yes. Yes. Yes.

So often, for whatever reason, we think we shouldn’t “bother” God with such, what we consider “menial "things.

Not true.

If He wants only good for you (and He does), then He cares about it all. The washing machine that quit working, up to the selling of a home are important to you, then they are important to Him. He wants to be involved in it all.

Every decision you make should always be done with God as a part of it. “Ask and it shall be done”.

Does that mean you can get silly with it and “ask” for things that God wouldn’t approve of you doing or having…I think you already know the answer to that.

If you are living within Gods will for your life, you want what He wants. Your relationship is so close to Him, you realize you need only to ask and believe and you will receive. You need healing in your body? It’s yours. You need wisdom for decisions? It’s yours.

Live your life for Him and whatever you ask in prayer…believe it’s yours. Even help with that stubbed toe. (Slow down around the footstool might just be the answer there. Speaking from experience. Ha)
