I am putting today’s verse at the top of the post today. I love the way the message bible says it so plain. Almost no explanation needed. Read it and then read it again.

Matthew 11:28 MSG

"Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you'll recover your life. I'll show you how to take a real rest."

Part of getting the rest needed to be at your personal best… is to “know that you know” that God has you. You have to slow down long enough to hear what He is saying to you.

Stop being that “religious” guy or gal that thinks they have to always have it all together.

Quit volunteering for everything, which on the surface, looks as if you are this “super Christian”. In reality, this is just wearing you out and is a recipe for “burnout”.

When you push yourself to the point of burnout, you become a well-intentioned, wrecked, broken down person in need of major stillness found in God.

Today’s verse lets you know He wants you to recover your life. He wants you to find out what real rest is all about. #helpforyourdailywalk #paulaandthebible
