What You've Been Given

Looking at this picture of my family, I feel so many emotions. This family started with those two Kewanee, MO sweethearts, Willie and Helen. They soon added Larry then Sondra. When dad returned from the war Linda, Jimmie and then Paula quickly made their appearance. A sweet family of 7.
We are now down to two of us … me and Sondra. It’s sometimes difficult to believe we are all that is left of the original “Tollison family” that sang and served in area churches. So many loved and still love this family. My prayer is that anyone that felt that love through the years will pass it on with paying it forward to others.
I love this verse in Revelation, “blessed are those who die in the Lord … they will rest from their hard work”. Mom and Dad and 3 of the original crew are resting from their work here.
May we all emanate the best of what we loved from those that are now gone from us.
