What You Habitually Do

Does it define you? Not necessarily, but it does make a difference in how your life flows.

Habits can be good or they can be bad. If you are wanting a successful life, those good habits should always outweigh the bad ones. You have to desire to be successful and “work” towards that goal.

How do we do that work? Who should it benefit? How do I choose to be excellent without feeling I have to be perfect at everything? So many questions.

Today’s scripture should help with those answers.

*Desire to do your best in all work (habitually)

*Desire that your work be done as if for the Lord

*No matter who your boss is, you aren’t doing that work for them

*You will be rewarded for these choices

*You are serving the Lord, your real master

Doing all you do with excellence is a habit that comes with “choosing and desiring” to keep your focus on the One who wants you to do your best … because He wants His best for you. So, really excellence is both a choice AND a habit.

Colossians 3:23-24 ERV

In all the work you are given, do the best you can. Work as though you are working for the Lord, not any earthly master. [24] Remember that you will receive your reward from the Lord, who will give you what he promised his people. Yes, you are serving Christ. He is your real Master. #paulaandthebible #helpforyourdailywalk
