What's in Your Thoughts

When you “get lost in your thoughts”, what kind of thoughts are they? Are they good, honest and honorable? Are you thinking good things about yourself, your family, your friends and neighbors?

We cause so many problems for ourselves when our thoughts are all goofed up.

If you are to be taken seriously, you need to be authentic and real. That all starts in your “noggin”, as my mom used to call it. If you don’t decide in your own heart and mind to be merciful, kind and respectful in your dealings with others, don’t expect to receive any of that from anyone else.

If you are having trouble understanding what you are doing wrong, measure yourself with our best possible example…Jesus. Put your focus on thanking and praising Him. Ask Him to help you as you change those negative thoughts into the kind that will bring honor to Him and be a blessing to yourself and others.

Philippians 4:8 TPT

[8] So keep your thoughts continually fixed on all that is authentic and real, honorable and admirable, beautiful and respectful, pure and holy, merciful and kind. And fasten your thoughts on every glorious work of God, praising him always. #paulaandthebible #helpforyourdailywalk
