What's Beyond the Fog?

I’m sitting here this morning (with coffee in hand) looking out the window of our little cottage. There is a heavy mist of fog hanging over our block. It may be over most of the little town where we live, but I wouldn’t know, because I can’t see past the fog.

As I thought about this, it dawned on me how often we stay in a state of fog, because we only see what is right in front of our eyes. We know that there is more out there, we’ve seen it before. But now, for whatever reason we think the comfort of our surroundings is all we have. Maybe you are having difficulty seeing beyond the misty fog of trials and darkness right now, but don’t just decide to stay there.

Y’all…there is more to life than just the familiar. Look past “your block” of friends and make new ones. Put yourself out there and you may see “an entire city” of friends and new experiences.

Just always remember to seek the Lords will in all you do and He will direct you on that clear or unclear road.
