When we think about what people need the most in their lives, we naturally come to the conclusion that we all need food, water, clothing and a place to call home. These are all important for sure for sustenance. I want to go deeper than that today. I want us to ponder on some possibilities.

Relationships in our lives can be wonderful and some of them can also be troublesome. There are some folks that have held a grudge against another person for years. What do you do with that? I believe that more times than not, we just suffer in silence. Is that what we should do? I say no! I say there are things you can do.

You say, “But Paula, I have tried and tried to mend what is broken and I just keep getting ‘slapped down’ over and over!” Therein lies your problem. You are focusing on the negative and not on how to show God’s love over and over again.

Imagine how your life would be impacted if you did that. The Bible says to “clothe yourself in love”. The last part of the verse is even cooler. It lets us know that love is what binds us together in perfect harmony. As you walk in love, continue to pray for restoration.

So, what do we need? We need love to reign in our hearts. We need to let go of grudges and forgive freely.

Colossians 3:14 NLT

[14] Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony. #helpforyourdailywalk #paulaandthebible
