Trust Matters

The chorus to a song I have listened to for many years by Michael English still resonates with me today.

“In Christ alone

I place my trust

And find my glory

In the power of the cross

In every victory

Let it be said of me

My source of strength

My source of hope

Is Christ alone”

If you are trusting in all the world can bring you, your trust is misplaced. There will be more disappointments than you can ever imagine.

Place your trust in the One that has no double standards. He will give you the stability you need in an unstable world. He is the same today as He was yesterday and can be trusted. He is always fair and just in an unjust world.

Believe with all your heart that what Jesus did for you and me on that cross has the power to be all that is needed to face anything. Trust in Him and draw your strength from Him.

Psalm 119:160 ERV

[160] Every word you say can be trusted. Your laws are fair and will last forever. #paulaandthebible #helpforyourdailywalk
