Today Should Be Your Focus

What can you accomplish today?

That’s where you find relief from stress and worry. We have to quit “sweating the small stuff” and start pinpointing the next step for today. Let tomorrow come while you are taking care of today. What are some simple things that I can do today to move me forward?

We need to live each day “laser focused” on the day before us. When we do that, there will be a shift in our thinking and task completion.

When I was working Monday through Friday outside the home, I tended to ruin my Sunday thinking about having to go back to work the next day. I should have been just enjoying the sweet time at home instead of worrying about what the next day was going to be like.

We need the attitude that we REFUSE to worry about the next day. Take each challenge that presents itself today and deal with it. Big or small, focus on taking care of that today.

Then, remember that the most valuable thing in your life is your relationship with Jesus. In verse 32 it says … “your heavenly Father already knows all your needs”. Quit adding the “worry factor” to the day.

Matthew 6:34 NLT

"So don't worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today's trouble is enough for today. #paulaandthebible #helpforyourdailywalk
