This World of Relationships

Doesn’t it make you feel good to build someone up and encourage them? Seeing their face that shows the stress of life go from a furrowed brow to a relaxed and genuine smile is so beautiful. It should give you a warm feeling in your heart that you’ve been that much needed help in how they see themselves and you.
When someone sees themselves as a sergeant in the army of getting the other person in line once and for all, the result is a broken spirit. There is just no room in the short time we have on this earth to tear people down. As our quote today reminds us … it’s silly to think doing so would in any way build us up.
Be aware of how you treat other people and how you are treated. If you are on the receiving end of constant abusive behavior, distance yourself from this and pray for them. You are not meant to be torn down, just as you are not to tear down others.
Living a life of peace with others is a non-negotiable sort of thing. May you feel the leadership of the Lord as you navigate through this world of relationships.
Hebrews 3:13 ERV
But encourage each other every day, while you still have something called "today." Help each other so that none of you will be fooled by sin and become too hard to change. #paulaandthebible #helpforyourdailywalk
