The Right Path for Your Children

When the nurse puts that sweet baby in your arms for the very first time, a sense of overwhelming love and joy fills your heart. This little guy or gal is yours to love for the rest of your life. The things that they will initially learn and accept will come from the foundation that you establish for them.

This is a beautiful and serious responsibility.

Getting your kids on the right path is more than just getting them into a good Christian school or deciding that homeschooling is the right choice. It is “from birth to grown” “day to day” type of life.

I wish I could go back and change a few things that I did wrong as a mom, but I can’t. What I can do is pray that God brings to remembrance the good that was taught and then help them learn from any mistakes made over the years.

We are not supposed to choose what vocation our kids will take. We are to give them a sure foundation of God’s love, so they choose the right path as they grow into adulthood.
