In Ecclesiastes we are reminded…To everything there is a season! A time for every activity under heaven. A time to laugh and a time to cry. A time to grieve and a time to dance. A time to keep quiet and a time to speak.
I picked out a few of the things that pertain to being able to live the good life we all want to live. (Read all of Ecc. 3:1-8 to get a full list) These aren’t just meant for us, but also to anyone we associate with and are a part of their lives.
It is easy to laugh with others, but do ya cry with them as well? I don’t mean that you have to get down in a pity party, but truly be a friend to them in all circumstances. In other words, be willing to be a person that sticks when others desert.
When it comes down to it, when you are able to laugh, cry and be thankful…that is a good life. Now…share that with others.
The good life shouldn’t be just about you. Building those relationships happens when you invest into the lives of those around you. Be there, even for the difficult friends. They probably need that laughter part more than any of your other buds do.
“Ain’t life grand?”
Romans 12:15-16 ERV
[15] When others are happy, you should be happy with them. And when others are sad, you should be sad too. [16] Live together in peace with each other. Don't be proud, but be willing to be friends with people who are not important to others. Don't think of yourself as smarter than everyone else. #helpforyourdailywalk #paulaandthebible
