Suddenly

I love the “suddenly” moments in my life. I’m sure you have had some of those times where you’re not sure if you are gonna make it and “suddenly” a way is made.

When we first moved to Nashville, (and before google maps assistant) I had a certain route I took to get to work every morning, until one morning there was a detour. I was in an unfamiliar 6 lane and not sure what to do. I took an exit that seemed logical to me, but I was absolutely lost.

I drove around for an hour, not sure how to get back on track. When I saw a way to get back on an interstate, even though it was a different one than originally on, I made the turn. And “suddenly” out of nowhere, there was the exit to the road where my office was located. That was the most exciting moment, the feeling of hopelessness to happiness.

When you are made new through your trust in Jesus Christ, things are different. You suddenly think differently and want to please your Heavenly Father.

Your spirit has connected with His spirit giving you new life and a different “want to”. You will mess up from time to time, but the new person in Christ wants to please Him and not the world.

2 Corinthians 5:17 MEV

[17] Therefore, if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature. Old things have passed away. Look, all things have become new. #paulaandthebible #helpforyourdailywalk
